Fleur Anderson is appointed Shadow Minister for Northern Ireland

The appointment is part of Keir Starmer's frontbench reshuffle, in which he also appointed Hilary Benn as Shadow Northern Ireland Secretary.

Keir Starmer has appointed Fleur Anderson MP as the Shadow Minister of State for Northern Ireland.

This follows Hilary Benn’s appointment as the Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.

Anderson is the Member of Parliament for Putney and was elected in the 2019 general election. She has previously served as the Shadow Paymaster General.

The Labour Party announced the appointment on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

Anderson replaces Tonia Antoniazzi MP as the Shadow Minister for Northern Ireland.
