Northern Ireland Affairs Committee

The Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee (or simply the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee) is a select committee of the House of Commons in the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The committee’s remit is to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Northern Ireland Office and its associated public bodies.

Changes:

  • On 17 December 2024, Simon Hoare (Con) replaced Jerome Mayhew (Con) as a member of the Select Committee.
  • On 13 November 2025, Paul Kohler (Lib Dem) replaced Al Pinkerton (Lib Dem) as a member of the Select Committee.
  • On 17 November 2025, Mike Kane (Labour) replaced Leigh Ingham (Labour) as a member of the Select Committee.
  • On 12 January 2025, Robin Swann (UUP) replaced Dan Aldridge (Labour) as a member of the Select Committee.
