Several MLAs have raised concerns about the appointment of DUP councillor Mervyn Storey as Chair of the Board of the Education Authority (EA), which was announced by Education Minister Paul Givan on Friday.
Education Minister Paul Givan has announced that a review of the Northern Ireland curriculum is to take place. He also announced that he will legislate to ensure that all children must remain in education or training until they are 18 years old.

Permanent Secretary at the Department of Justice, Richard Pengelly, is to be seconded as Chief Executive Officer in the Education Authority from April.
