Finance Minister John O’Dowd has published his draft multi-year budget. However, the DUP has said the budget has not received Executive approval, and the allocations “are deeply flawed and will require significant changes if they are to command our support.”
Finance Minister John O’Dowd has confirmed that the Northern Ireland Executive has agreed on allocations of over £118 million as part of the June monitoring round. Health and Education will receive the majority of the funding.
The Northern Ireland Executive has agreed on a budget for the 2025/26 financial year following a meeting on Thursday. Finance Minister John O’Dowd said the Executive are determined to “work together to deliver.”
