Dr Bronagh Magee has been selected by Alliance as their new councillor for Castlereagh South. She will replace Nancy Eaton, who resigned earlier this week to pursue a master’s degree abroad.
Alliance councillor for Castlereagh South, Nancy Eaton, has resigned from her role on Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council to pursue a master’s degree abroad. She was first elected to the role in the 2023 local election.
The Alliance Party has co-opted Jamie Harpur to Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council to replace Michelle Guy, who was co-opted to the Assembly following Sorcha Eastwood’s election to Westminster.
