Sinn Fein sees drop in support in recent poll, TUV and UUP gaining on the DUP

Sinn Fein have seen a drop in support by two points in a recent poll by LucidTalk, but they are still maintaining their lead over the DUP, who are also down one point. The UUP and TUV are the only two parties from the main five to see a rise in support.

Financial accounts published for political parties in Northern Ireland

The Electoral Commission has published the financial accounts for the political parties in Northern Ireland for the accounting period ending on 31 December 2023. Sinn Féin had the largest income followed by the DUP.

Polling shows positive signs for SDLP and Alliance approaching the general election

A new poll by LucidTalk has seen the Social Democratic and Labour Party have the biggest increase in support, gaining three points, as we approach the general election in July. The TUV saw the biggest drop in support, dropping three points to 5%.

New polling shows positive indicators for the DUP but they remain behind Sinn Fein who remain the most popular party. Whilst the UUP and SDLP have nothing positive to take from the poll.
