The Electoral Office for Northern Ireland has announced that Jack Gibson has been returned to fill the vacancy in the Ballymena DEA on Mid & East Antrim Borough Council.
The Alliance Party councillor has been co-opted following the resignation of John Hyland in August.
Gibson stood in the local council election in May 2023 but failed to get elected.
