A reshuffle within the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) has seen Pam Cameron replaced as Junior Minister in The Executive Office by Joanne Bunting.
Ms Cameron joined the Executive alongside Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly in February 2024.

“I want to thank Ms Pam Cameron for her valued contribution on our behalf in the Executive Office as a Junior Minister over the last nineteen months,” DUP leader Gavin Robinson said.
“Pam will take up a number of important tasks within the DUP Assembly group in the months ahead as we work on behalf of those who elected us,” he added.
Bunting was the DUP spokesperson for Justice and served as Chair of the Justice Committee before her appointment.
She has been at Stormont since 2016, when she won the East Belfast seat previously held by Peter Robinson, and was a councillor for over ten years before that.
Other changes include Peter Martin being appointed Chair of the Infrastructure Committee to cover Deborah Erskine’s maternity leave, and Paul Frew taking over as Chair of the Justice Committee.
It has been an honour and a privilege to have served in the Junior Minister role to deputy First Minister @little_pengelly

It's a time in my political life that I will remember with much fondness. I am grateful to have had the experience and to have met so many wonderful people pic.twitter.com/Nvk1p7TaQG
Posting on X, Cameron said it was “an honour and a privilege to have served in the Junior Minister role.”
She also paid tribute to those she met during her time at The Executive Office, and those who she worked with.
“Wishing my friend and colleague Joanne Bunting all the very best as she takes up the mantle,” she added.
I am equally excited to have more time for my constituents in South Antrim who have supported me throughout.
